Overview
Helping Life Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families from urban slums and vulnerable communities through education, healthcare, nutrition, and humanitarian initiatives.
All donations made to Helping Life Foundation are voluntary contributions intended to support our charitable programs. Once a donation has been successfully processed and a donation receipt has been issued, the donation is generally non-refundable, as funds are promptly allocated to ongoing welfare activities.
Policy Principles
Helping Life Foundation follows transparent donation practices guided by the following principles:
All donations are made voluntarily by donors of their own free will.
Donations become final and non-refundable once a donation receipt has been issued, including tax exemption receipts such as 80G certificates, where applicable.
Contributions are utilized for charitable activities such as food distribution, education support, healthcare assistance, clothing drives, and community welfare programs.
Refunds may only be considered in limited situations involving verified technical or payment-related errors.
Limited Refund Eligibility
(Before Receipt Issuance Only)
Refund requests may be considered only in the following situations:
Duplicate donation transactions
Incorrect donation amount due to a technical or system error
Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions
Payment gateway errors resulting in multiple charges
All refund requests must be submitted within 7 business days from the date of the transaction and will be subject to internal verification and review.
Refund Process (If Approved)
If a refund request qualifies under the above conditions:
Refunds will be processed only to the original payment method used during the donation.
Refund processing may take 10 to 15 business days, depending on banking institutions and payment gateway timelines.
A confirmation email will be sent once the refund process has been initiated.
Helping Life Foundation reserves the right to approve or decline refund requests at its sole discretion, and all decisions shall be considered final.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
After a donation receipt has been issued
Change of mind after making a voluntary donation
Donations made for specific campaigns or drives once funds have been allocated
Reasonable delays in the issuance of tax exemption receipts
Refund requests submitted after 7 business days from the transaction date
Event or Program Fees (If Applicable)
For workshops, events, or training programs organized by Helping Life Foundation:
Cancellation 15 or more days before the event: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee
Cancellation 8–14 days before the event: 50% refund
Cancellation within 7 days of the event: No refund (credit may be offered for future programs)
If Helping Life Foundation cancels the event or program, a full refund will be provided.
